This half-day skill development workshop brought together 11 team members for an offsite leadership team retreat. This was the first time the leadership team gathered together in over two years, and included a few new team members who had not yet met the others in person. This leadership team was very happy to be together and were more than willing to have some fun!
The objectives for the Creative Thinking Workshop were to introduce a creative thinking mindset, to build skills and tools with a particular focus on developing curiosity and supporting the team to ask better questions, and to learn how to develop more robust and innovative solutions.
The key challenge that Neolé faced was designing the Creative Thinking Workshop in a way that packed all the value into one afternoon while still providing space for the team to foster connection
Together with the client, we chose three key outcomes and ensured we delivered practical results. Ginny Santos, Neolé’s CEO and Creativity Expert, brought her deep experience teaching creativity to build an ambitious and manageable agenda with clear expectations and outcomes. The workshop focused on building leadership skills in order to be progressive, flexible, ask provocative questions, and lead transformation in the organization. Ginny delivered practical ways to achieve these goals, and equipped participants with skills and resources to move out of their comfort zone and drive creativity on their teams with confidence.
Neolé designed and led a successful Creative Thinking Workshop, and received positive feedback from the client and participants. The leadership team learned the principles of creative thinking, discovered their own FourSight thinking styles and identified how their thinking style impacts how they collaborate together on teams and contribute to innovation. The leadership team also acquired a framework for asking provocative questions that lead to transformation.
