We facilitated a unique half-day workshop designed to bring a team together for an in-person workshop that enhanced team performance, collaboration, and well-being. Our approach was tailored to the team’s needs, ensuring a highly interactive session that was both effective and enjoyable. We guaranteed a productive and engaging workshop by using Playmobil.Pro tools and the Pro.Play methodology, combined with Solution-Focused Coaching questions. Each team member left with new insights and a commitment to specific actions. To measure the workshop’s effectiveness, we conducted a follow-up survey three weeks after the session.
The team believed they collaborated well, but there were underlying issues they weren’t communicating, possibly due to being spread across the country. Some team members felt isolated or disconnected when working from home.
Balancing leadership roles with hands-on responsibilities was challenging. Upcoming retirements and transitions of leadership roles within the company left a lot of uncertainty around responsibilities.
Despite regular meetings, there was a concern that too much communication might be reducing productivity. The client personally struggled with maintaining consistency and a structured approach tailored to individual team member needs.
To make the workshop appealing, we crafted compelling email communications for team leaders to build excitement. We scheduled a half-day meeting from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, including lunch, featuring interactive and dynamic activities that got team members talking with deep sincerity and a solution-focused mindset, without relying on PowerPoint presentations.
To keep the workshop exciting and accessible for everyone we focused on a few different goals:
The client is now able to implement concrete strategies that were co-created by all team members in support of a more collaborative, communicative, and self-aware team environment that enables high performance and job satisfaction. They are committed to recognizing and addressing potential gaps in team dynamics and individual work habits, particularly in the context of remote work. Adjustments to their leadership style and meeting structures are underway to better meet the team’s needs. This workshop has laid the foundation for ongoing improvements and a stronger, more cohesive team.
